This advert, designed by me for Guildhall, aligns seamlessly with the brand’s professional and reliable identity. The clean, corporate setting reflects the product’s role in improving workplace efficiency, while the vibrant document wallets add a splash of colour, breaking the monotony often associated with filing products. The practical arrangement of the wallets on the desk underscores the functionality and organisational benefits Guildhall offers, resonating with professionals seeking order in their workspace. Exaclair Limited is the UK subsidiary of the Exacompta Clairefontaine group, a global leader in premium stationery, art supplies, and office solutions with a rich heritage of craftsmanship and innovation. Representing 16 prominent brands and over 20,000 products, Exaclair Limited reflects the group’s dedication to quality and creativity.
I’ve taken on a wide variety of creative responsibilities, from designing ads and catalogues to overseeing the type of marketing materials we produce. I work closely with our customers to meet their design needs and collaborate with our French counterparts to ensure we maintain consistent brand standards across the board. It’s been a great opportunity to put my multi-disciplinary design and photography skills to work in a practical, hands-on way.
Amazon Project
For the Amazon project, I worked on refreshing the listings for King's Lynn-made products, focusing primarily on the Guildhall range. This involved updating their Amazon images to include a dynamic mix of clean product shots and detailed etail graphics, ensuring the visuals highlighted key features like durability, size, and sustainability. By aligning the imagery with customer expectations and platform best practices, the updated listings aimed to boost engagement and improve visibility within search results, ultimately enhancing listing scores.
These images illustrate the features and benefits of the pocket wallets, effectively combining product photography and e-commerce design to highlight their practicality and quality. Each image is tailored to provide key information, from showcasing the size and durability of the wallets to their sustainable materials and functional design. The inclusion of lifestyle elements, such as someone holding the wallet or its use on a desk, helps contextualise its everyday utility.
The design elements, such as the clean layout and use of icons, make technical details like sustainability, capacity, and material quality easily digestible for the customer. Visual consistency across the images ties back to the professional yet accessible Guildhall brand, emphasising reliability and environmental responsibility. By integrating these elements, these visuals not only enhance the customer’s understanding but also strengthen trust in the product and brand.
